I'm still alive. Work has been busy, but not uncomfortably so. It's just taking up a lot of my life. Meanwhile i have also been trying to deal with my skin woes

I read a WWII fiction novel where a woman decided to walk all night instead of risk sleeping in possibly scabies-infested hay. I thought she was being dramatic until you started writing about this scabies saga. Damn.
Honestly, now i've given it a few more weeks, i'm still not convinced it is still a scabies fallout. Shit got worse again. I texted my dad and he's like "when we lived in Africa your nan got these microscopic worms in her blood" and now i'm like fuuuuuck. Because. It it's only gotten worse. I am so sick of this.
And, alas, it continues. This past week was hell. I'm covered in scratches that i gave myself while sleeping, and that's only in the few hours per night that i actually slept. It's so awful. I wish someone could wave a wand and just fix it, whatever it is.
How crazy. I wonder if it could be something different or even something in addition to scabies. Or maybe you already even know that and I am just not caught up. I work at a peds office and we see kids with scabies now and then but I've never heard of anything like what you are experiencing! Of course, usually the kids get their rash and get kicked out of school immediately, so probably it's just caught much sooner than yours was. :( I'm really sorry you are still struggling.

Patience seems to be the theme this year. That said, I do hope this recovery speeds up!
