I have no idea. I would like to visit China. An acquaintance has been bumming around Taiwan for a few years so I figured that might be a good place to start. I am thinking about taking a freighter from somewhere in Europe, maybe Greece, and then giving myself a few weeks to get to the port from Berlin. If I don't like China (mainland or otherwise) then I can see where to go next. Everyone reckons Thailand is great, and some friends spent a bunch of time in Cambodia, but I kinda wanna avoid the backpacker superhighway. Maybe if I dig the solitude of traveling on a freighter I could head down the Panama canal to the Caribbean. I dunno. I'll end up in Canada sooner or later, I guess. Honestly, I haven't really put a lot of thought into it besides going places where I can either be alone or eat good food. Try give my brain space to figure out what to do next. I should write an entry to collect my thoughts...
