Semester is almost over and etc..

and thank goodness! I was ready for this semester to be over a week ago if not sooner. But I still have 3 more assignments plus my leadership project to complete, and my boss had jury duty this week so my ability to get some school work done at work went to crap.

Now onto the bright side of things, my big bang is almost at 20k mark.

My recent reading has included Star Trek, Pride & Prejudice, Newsies, Torchwood. Are you looking for long or short?

Season of Courtship (AO3 link 41,000 words) which is Pride &Prejudice post book/movie which is fun and fluffy and feels shorter than it is.

If you like Newsies then Gents & Dames was really good. Set ten years after the movie and is a sort of fusion with Guys and Dolls (which I'm not familiar with but it didn't matter.) Also Very Long.

For Star Trek, I'm linking to a recs list by rhaegal It's dominantly Kirk/Spock so I've only read sporadically since I'm more of a Kirk/McCoy girl, but everything I have read off of it has been good.

originalpuck has wonderful Star Trek rec sets at her journal, One, Two, Genderswap, plus lots of smart things to say in her journal.

Thanks for the rec list! I love Kirk/Spock pairing so this is rather awesome. :) I just don't have time to find out who are the good writers in the the Reboot fandom or in other fandoms for that matter.

Hmmm Other thans spn, recently i have been reading a lot of Kirk/McCoy [star trek] fics...
main reason is due to this fic by sometimesophie. Amazing! It introduced me to StarTrek Mirror!verse, which before reading this story I did not know what mirror!verse was. Had to do some research on star trek and actually watch the actual ep to know what was going on. LOL
In search for more mirror!verse type fics, brought me to graceandfire's Brightness Burns series and green_postit's follow up story icarus in retrospect.

Um... other than that, i haven't span into other fandoms lately - sorry couldn't offer you more variety. If i think of something, for sure let you know.
