Well it didn't suck like some other movies, the production values were there, the acting was mostly good, it's just I found season 1 episodes of SPN much more frightening and less likely to make my lose my dinner. Seriously, I had to cover my eyes through most of the movie because they had so many very gross things happening I could not watch without gagging. But if you have a much stronger stomach for vomit type things then maybe you'd get more out of the movie. So maybe I should have posted that caveat.

My idea of awesome horror is Alien and the Others and in TV land. Bloody Mary, Home, and the actually a lot of season 1 for SPN.

I really don't get why it has a 94% at rottentomatoes! Seriously, I'd like to find someone that enjoyed this movie that could explain this to me.

I saw it because I do generally like Sam Raimi movies...but this one not so much. I keep wondering if I was crazy for not liking it since it has such a high rating everywhere I'm looking.

Well it might be good, if you don't get sickened easily by very gross stuff in movies like people having bodily fluids going everywhere...

Hrm. Well, I do enjoy the gross-outs, but much more so when they're surrounded by a decent plot. Ahh well.

Well the plot I guess was okay but kind of predictable. I don't know I think it'll vary from person to person.

Dude, my oversensitive sympathetic gag reflex was just BRUTALIZED by the end of that movie. Though I kind of LOVED the visual of her standing all muddied up in the rain towards the end. That actress is MUCH prettier when she's pissed.

Um deleted my last comment because it had spoilers. Here's the non-spoilery version.

omg, I almost threw up once! after that I just had to cover my eyes through most of the movie! But really what ticked me off the most was the ending. I hate endings like that. Plus it was rather predictable. Basically, it wasn't scary as much as gross. :(
