The only other reason my BFF and I could come up with for Finn being the way he is is that he's jealous of Blaine and threatened by his talent, since his voice is quite inferior to Blaine's and he knows it, but I like my theory better.

yeah, Kurt/Finn as brothers is definitely one of my OTP's which means that it leaks into everything I do, and translates as overprotective Finn. Which seems to have a habit of turning into one big disaster for Finn. and it's fun to write. Also although it's not really evidenced in this particular fic, I also love a good Blaine/Finn bromance. but Finn's love for Kurt outweighs his love for Blaine, so...poor Blaine gets the short end of the stick. I really just needed to write this so that I could fix the whole hating Blaine thing, cause it was really messing with my headcannon.

yeah, i still don't get the whole finn hating and being jealous of blaine thing. i felt he was being too immature in that choir room, esp since we all thought he liked blaine and we all have their bromance as our head canon. i do hope they resolve that issue soon enough in the show.

and the icon. yes. All of my icons except for this and maybe one other is all Klaine, but i wrote a story called "brain bleach" from Finn's pov where he was trapped in the room while Klaine was having sex and I needed an appropriate Finn icon for that. (sorry for the shameless plug)I get to use this icon so little so anytime Finn makes a significant appearance...It gets used. :)
