A Thief Week

Oh my gosh, last week of school DONE!!!! It's been amazing though, I have never had such a concentration of Thief references in my life! First, in my Egyptian religion class, my prof explained how Cleopatra wasn't actually beautiful, all the men who fell head over heels in love for her did so because of her brains. My first thought, "EDDIS!!!!!"

Last week of school?! College is crazy.... I still have two months ...

That is so funny! I'm so happy about all the collelation-ness! (I have a large smile on my face right now.)

Yeah, I guess Canada universities are weird, everyone else I know gets out waaaayyy later than we do. So I get to laugh at all my friends who stayed in state. Lol. I just have to make it through finals first... Where's Gen and his notes on the Italian language that he was supposed to send me?

Love the reference! And oh my gosh, if I could have the same shoes as Gen I would die of happiness. How awesome would that be?

I just found 2 more!!! Doing my Classical studies readings. 1)Marcus Aurelius needed money so he auctioned off the crown jewels (like Attolia and her jewelry!).
2)Reading about "speaking inscriptions" for my epigraphy essay. One amphora had the inscription "Kleimachos made me and I belong to him" reminds me of "The Queen made me."

Can you tell what I'd rather be reading now?

I'm writing a history paper about the printing press's effect right now, and you can probably guess who I thought of when I saw this picture of Gutenberg! (It should be red, though.)

And since this is the epicenter of Daily Thief Occurences,

In my religion-ish class yesterday, my teacher had us write down a Bible quote, and he wrote "Gen 12.1 (...)" on the board! I think I squeaked in glee. I mean, EVERYONE in the class was at that moment writing "Gen." *Sigh* It's hopeless. (Not that I'd ever want to stop!)

Thief reference of the day. This morning, last minute cramming before my Egyptian relig. final. You could say I was in a temple (I was reading about them, at any rate) when a sudden wave of dread overcame me and I had to resist the urge to run fleeing from the source. The source being the sudden realization that I had a final coming up. But my first thought was how similar it was to Gen and his feeling when the Arachthus was coming. Finals are just as frightening as any angry river deity.
