Sadly, the hard drive is still a distant dream. I HAVE been writing. That at least makes me feel productive. On top of the existing hard drive issue, the car has gone kaput. Yup...totally stuck in my house for now. LOL. And, to make things worse, my husband's grandfather passed away and because of the car breaking down we can't afford a plane

I would like to state, again, we need to live closer. Your car can not be sent here over the interwbz :(

I think we need to start a running list of how many times in a year we can tell each other we need to live closer. Evidently, it's a fuel pump issue. This sucks balls because those are supposed to be "holy shit, we don't have that kind of money right now" expensive.

We should, only I am a little afraid to find out just how often that is.

What kind of car? (And year) I will see what I can find at a few places online that do refurbished and salvaged.

It's a chevy malibu 1997. Brian was able to at least figure out a way to get the car back to our house, so that's good.
