I recently read a book called Saker som aldrig händer ("Things that never happens"), a YA novel. (For school.) I'm not sure why I took it exactly, it just "looked good". Yes, I understand that "realistic yuri" is hard to find... but on the other hand, I suppose it would be a lot more surprising if there was a lot of it, after all! I mean, now we're talking about anime, but there aren't that many great lesbian movies or novels out there, either.
I like the art of this one. Different from most of what I've seen so far - not that that's a lot, but that's why it's so interesting to notice the differences. :)

man, childhood friend love stories are my LEAST FAVOURITE. for entirely personal reasons though; they bring back too many embarrassing memories...

Oh, I see! Haha. I don't think I can say that I have any strong feelings for or against it, but there are other kinds of stories that I like more. For entirely personal reasons... :)

unresolved sexual tension is my personal favourite. i love the old our-constant-bickering-is-just-foreplay-for-how-much-we'd-actually-like-to-fuck trope.
