I recently read a book called Saker som aldrig händer ("Things that never happens"), a YA novel. (For school.) I'm not sure why I took it exactly, it just "looked good". It's a story about a boy who has been living with his mother for almost ten years. In the beginning of the book, he has moved back in with his father in the house where he grew up

Yes, I understand that "realistic yuri" is hard to find... but on the other hand, I suppose it would be a lot more surprising if there was a lot of it, after all! I mean, now we're talking about anime, but there aren't that many great lesbian movies or novels out there, either.
I like the art of this one. Different from most of what I've seen so far - not that that's a lot, but that's why it's so interesting to notice the differences. :)

man, childhood friend love stories are my LEAST FAVOURITE. for entirely personal reasons though; they bring back too many embarrassing memories...

Oh, I see! Haha. I don't think I can say that I have any strong feelings for or against it, but there are other kinds of stories that I like more. For entirely personal reasons... :)

unresolved sexual tension is my personal favourite. i love the old our-constant-bickering-is-just-foreplay-for-how-much-we'd-actually-like-to-fuck trope.
