Dan grinned widely at the darkness and took a deep breath and screamed.

it was long, it was loud, and it cut off suddenly.

At which point the lights turned back on, Dan sprawled on the floor pretending to be dead.

The darkness was disorienting for a second. Lancer hissed in the blackness to cover his glee, didn't even bother trying to keep himself from tripping in the dark and landing with a THUD against the wall, just to add sensory confusion to the others.

And then the lights came back and Lancer fell back into character. A very furious character.

"Who did it?!" Lancer demanded in an insane shriek. "Who stole my kill?! That was my priviledge, my RIGHT! Who did it?!"

As the lights came back on, Fright Knight took in the scene from the corner of the room. He strolled forward and knelt beside Dan's body, looking as though he was examining it. "This man is dead," he announced the obvious to the room after checking for a "pulse." His gaze swept across the room, looking at each suspect in turn and lingering on Lancer. Now came the part of trying to figure out who exactly the murderer was.

"D-dead?" Freakshow asked, feigning distraught shock. "No, that's not right. He can't be dead. Not dead dead."

He was in his element, a performer on stage, and he was loving every second of it.

Kwan blinked wide eyes at Dan lying "dead" on the floor. He had been standing by the table with the refreshments and snacks when the lights went out and remained standing there when lights came back on. He took a sip of the punch and fell into character for the game as a silent onlooker.
