The area in front of Town Hall has been flooded with what might be described as a block party if it didn't extend for several blocks in three directions. Celebrants, food vendors, sellers of merchandise authorized and un-, meld into a happy chaos. A bandstand at the center hosts the only organized parts of the proceedings.
