I moved in over a year ago, but I'm only now really getting a solid idea of what I want my finished apartment to look like. Part of it was that I was in a really bad place emotionally and brain chemistry wise and that the move itself had totally and completely wiped me out. Love the hook, it looks very elegant. I hate it when work isn't done right and must be redone. Things done by previous owners to our house were so bad every little repair (like changing a burned out bulb in a recessed light) seems to take two days and $150. Good luck.

Oh man, don't get me started on idiot previous owners. *twitch*

There's a light fixture in our basement that the lightbulb sat in so long that the bulb is RUSTED IN PLACE.

And then there's the fixtures down there that just don't work.

And then there was the saga of the toilets.

And the water lines.

And the floor.

*starts chewing on the couch*

*hee* It's awesome, except that they used a regular length pipe, but because of the way the shower head works, you can't angle it to direction spray away, so you're stuck 5 inches from the wall where the controls stick out. On my list of things to see if it will cost me too much $$ and sanity is to replace the pipe with one another couple of inches long*er*.
