I woke up feeling fairly refreshed and discovered my headache hadn't returned. I was going to work in my apartment which doesn't have AC yet (but it will on Friday!) so I put my 12,000 feet of hair way up on my head and it looks really good

the microwave, dishwasher and stove and all nearby wall outlets all shared a single breaker

Oh yes. Yes they will. We should at the very least get the dishwasher off the breaker. The problem might be the outlets b/c I would not put it past these guys to have wired it in such a way that it's all one feed (the microwave is plugged in after all, not part of the range hood). Ideally I want Microwave separate, dishwasher separate, but it can live with the stove b/c it's gas and the only time it uses electricity is when it's turning on, oh god have to check the freaking vent to see where it's at, I'd rather the entire stove/hood be separate really. And then divy up the rest of the outlets between two more breakers.

I'm fairly sure what they have now breaks some sort of code.

And yes, this IS what it takes to make me use 3. *G*

The way they wired that kitchen breaks LAWS, hon. LAWS. It's not just a simple code violation, it is a fire waiting to happen. I suggest baseball bats and to violate these people with SHEEP.
