1. Someone randomly managed to find their way to my wishlist (I'm actually not sure how, I wonder if I should worry *paranoid*) and just got me a gift. Randomly. It was just a foxtrot comic book, but it's a gift and it's funny and it was completely unexpected. So thank you random person!

I feel your pain about the circuit thing. My house is wired really strangely. Most of my kitchen, my laundry room, one wall of my living room, and one wall of my front room are all on one circuit. Usually it's okay, but there are combinations that I can't use. Washer + Dryer + Microwave, Washer + Stove + Toaster, Microwave + Toaster + Air Conditioner turning on(it's on the living room). The list goes on.
