Hey, want to give the RIAA a call? Sure, their number is unlisted and they've wiped all of their official contact information from the web, but their phone number is available in a catchy free mp3 song at http://www.zug.com/gab/index.cgi?func=view_thread&sort=active&head=1&thread_id=34958#break

I know who *I'm* calling tomorrow!

Kill them all. Its really the only solution.
Anyway, the real reason I'm here is I'm going on a crazy friending spree in 'Lantis circles, and I see you around on my flist all the time. So I've added you and I hope thats okay. You can kick me if its not *g*

Thanks for the link. The RIAA really pisses me off. It's gone way beyond trying to prevent piracy to how companies can squeeze the maximum amount of money out of the consumer. Are we supposed to buy the CD AND buy mp3 format if we want to use it on an mp3 player? That's crap. And if the RIAA ever manages to implement that change, my response will be very simple: I WON'T BUY CDs. And they will lose more of my money. Instead, I'll buy the digital version and burn my own. Or just attach my mp3 player to my home/car audio system like I already do. My CD buying has already dropped drastically, because I rarely enjoy all the songs on a CD, and it's cheaper to download them individually from Itunes.
