I'd post my reaction to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but I think I need more time and a reread to truly process it. Besides, I want something to say when I'm discussing it with you guys that I haven't already posted all over the internet.

I don't think I can say a lot about graduation. It was long, hot, and smelly; then, it was OK. Nothing super-embarrassing happened to me, so that's cool. My dinner was awesome, as were my gifts-- really pretty roses from Chris, money from my cousins, and a laptop from my parents! Um, I'm bored.

Like, bored silly.

I'm wondering if I'll be less bored if I start slapping myself across the face.

You know, I read that waxing is supposed to feel like a hard slap. Maybe I should build up a tolerance to waxing by regularly slapping myself.

I was just reading something and it went like this: ".... sin ...." and I was all like "sine of what?" Yeah. Math needs to stop messing up my English.

Well, I've gotten contacts.

Can you all give me your contact stories-- you know, about when you first got them and stuff. These things in my eyes are going to take a bit of getting used to.

Also, WTF do I do with them everyday? Like, the cleaning and putting them away part. They told me so much stuff so quickly that I'm not sure.

Well, I'm going to go to Vanderbilt.

My mind's made up, but my gut and my heart haven't really caught up yet.

I'm convinced that I'm making the right decision, but the nerves are still there. I'm waiting for the certainty to wash over me.
