A few months ago, we moved Elf into what had been our bedroom, then the bedroom of many boarders/friends, then Olive's room, then the guest room, then sure_i_am's room. Ben stayed in what had been originally the nursery, painted so beautifully by kirbyfest and finabair. We got rid of scads of unneeded furniture. We got rid of the rickety bunk beds that were over 50 years

My thoughts EXACTLY. I detest carpet, and find hard wood easier to care for, clean, AND more attractive.
