The school year has been going well. I must admit that it's really nice not to be taking a class (I'm officially doing my "student teaching" for my LBS-I sp.ed. stuff, but it's really a practicum and there is VERY little work--just a project with goals, 5 lesson plans, and a pre- and post-assessment ( Read more... )

The next step is repainting the rooms so the kids have had decorating choices in their "grownup room" design. I'm also really eager for the shelves to be built so we can organize the movies and books that are piled everywhere for lack of a better place.

I'd give my right arm for some more shelving (piles of books/dvds etc are still cutting edge decorating though, aren't they?? Please say yes otherwise I'm going to have to cancel that Home Beautiful photo shoot here at my house!!! ;P)

The kids are going to have a ball picking out their own special look!!

LOL! And i know what you mean about wanting more shelves!

I'm trying to remember correctly, but with Elf & Ben in separate rooms, this means you no longer have a spare bedroom, right? So that would probably mean the end of any more exchange students and/or sub-tenants...?
