I have lots of homework to do. And I've BEEN doing it since noon yesterday. Of course, I've been doing the stuff that's due a month out from now, not the stuff (that's more boring) that's due this week.

I love that Ayn Rand quote. I don't remember when I first read it, but I remember using it in my LJ sometime ago. Do you remember who said it?

Also, this is a fine skewering that lauds the orc quote...and an exception to the "don't read the comments" truism.

Oh, and you should read the Salon article I linked to in the post. It's appalling how one father used this philosophy with his child. Basically asked her to file for emancipation so that he wouldn't have to pay child support. Sleazeball.
