The Remains in the Tropics

Written (extremely late) for Yahtzee63 in the help_haiti challenge. Prompt was "A Bones-centric ficlet with a strong B/B vibe with words/ideas: babies, gossip, dissection, the more things change, the more they stay the same, Hawai'i."

( Summary: Brennan's going to a dig in Hawai'i and Booth wants to tag along...of course, they'd need swimsuits for that. )

Oh, this is LOVELY. They're so very much in character, and Booth is particularly adorkable, especially in the first section where she's playing him and he doesn't quite figure it out.

Now you have me wanting a swim in the ocean...which is really tough to do in Nebraska. :)

Oh, I'm SO glad you enjoyed it!

I've never been swimming in the ocean...never had opportunity (and am rather intimidated by the prospect), being from Illinois and all.

I'm glad Booth comes across as adorkable...and that the playing him works. :-)

That was so cute and awesome. I especially loved their banter right at the beginning: I was totally envisioning Booth and Bren in the car (not watching the road)
