It Gets Better

Even four years ago, I'm not sure I believed that my hopes for a political better in my country would come about. I know that as a bullied kid, ALL I hoped was for it to "get better." I am so impressed by the It Gets Better Project, started by Dan Savage and his partner Terry and I particularly like and identify with President Obama's comments.

You know, this is a perfect example of why I'm still so proud to have voted for him. It's something I can't imagine many past presidents doing. The impact of bullying can be devastating, and I'm so grateful to everyone who is speaking out through this project.
