It Gets Better
Even four years ago, I'm not sure I believed that my hopes for a political better in my country would come about. I know that as a bullied kid, ALL I hoped was for it to "get better." I am so impressed by the It Gets Better Project, started by Dan Savage and his partner Terry and I particularly like and identify with President Obama's comments. I find that do look back with compassion and wisdom on my experience and they do lead me to fight discrimination.
