We now have five cats.

One is Basement!Cat (Torlei), for whom we're going to have to find a new home before it gets really cold, since she never comes upstairs and it's COLD down there. Remember Torlei used to be an outdoor kitty. She'll be fine as long as she finds a place to curl up. My money's on your dryer.

Course, Torlei will find that the dryer is FREEZING in winter due to the cold air blowing right down the exhaust thingie when it's not on.

Adorable! They grow SO quickly, don't they? Vinny is 6 months next week and almost as tall as Martha! Going to be a big boy :)

It's amazing.

Leonard is a good 2 inches bigger than Sheldon, and they're from the same place and were the same size when we got them. ...Course, Leonard DOUBLED in weight over the first 3 days we had them too. They LIKED the Good Food.

We have nine cats. Someone's always sulking in the basement, but they seem to take turns. Give her a nice bed and she'll be fine -- cats don't attach any stigma to sleeping in the basement like people do.

It's Wild Kingdom I'm keen to put an end to.

Also the pooping on the floor that comes of the cats getting trapped in the litter boxes during all-out-war.

Yikes. Yeah, we have the Wild Kingdom death matches too, but so far the only one pooping on the floor is the dog.

We have hooded litter boxes, and both Gordon and Grey!Cat are apparently terrified of getting trapped inside the litter box with Torlei outside blocking their departure like they guard either side of the cat door to the basement. It's...not good.

Kitties! They're adorable. And yes, every time you turn around they'll have doubled in size. I weighed my boys tonight and they both top 8lbs (they were 3 & 4 when we got them in August)
