"I am a gamer, like my father before me"

My 6-year-old son has started to use the word "minions" in conversation (correctly). I couldn't figure it out until he was playing some computer game in the living room and kept turning around to Husband and me to declare indignantly, "[Monster] and his minions killed me AGAIN!!!!"

AHAHAAH, AWESOME. I can't believe he's six already. I mean, I remember you bouncing him in his little pouch thingie and having him fall, dead, asleep on me.

When my eldest niece was 2½, she came into the kitchen and proclaimed "Those without employment feel disconnected from society due to lack of the social stimulation of a workplace as well as lack of funds". The other kids are equally brilliant. *beams*

Those monsters and their minions like to kill things. Heck, I've just had monsters kill me. :P

And *please* tell me he prefers RPGs to the "run around in cars smashing things or otherwise just driving around" stuff that the nephew prefers!

The driving stuff gets boring to watch after awhile....LOL

He's not old enough yet for RPGs. We'll get there. He loves the Hot Wheels thingie where you can either be the car trying to escape getting squished by the monster OR the monster trying to squish the car. :-)

I've also heard good things about the various Lego games, if you get the opportunity and he's willing to try 'em....
