::blush:: Um...which was yours? I lost track of authors since I started the list prior to and finished after the reveal...

And you're welcome!

Mine was the good one.... *wink*

No. Seriously. That doesn't help. They're all good.

I wrote "The Doctor is In, but the Patient is Out." It was a M*A*S*H S*L*A*S*H fic (Klinger/Winchester).

Thank you for reccing "Outliving the Universe". It was my first fic outside my usual fandom (LOTR) and I was very nervous about it!

Oh, it was gorgeous. Very in keeping with the series and with Lewis's work. I was uncomfortable at first with the RPF facet of the story, but it worked for me and I really liked Susan meeting a lovely person there, having a long and wonderful life and family.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous of using him in the story, yet I so much wanted to use his words, and he seemed best suited to deliver them. And I thought, if Digory Kirke *had* existed, I'm sure the two of them would have been friends.

And I very much hope he would have approved the ending I gave her.

You recced both ("Sins of Yesterday" and "Havana Honeymoon") of my fics! Thank you!

Also, I haven't had too much time to read yet, but you've recced almost every fic that I enjoyed. Since your taste clearly coincides with mine, I'll be making extensive use of this once my children go back to school and I can ignore housework read fic in peace.

That's because they were both BRILLIANT.

Sounds like we're from a similar time period in fandom...OMG...I checked your profile and you're not even a full year older than me, you have a son with autism (mine is 5 and HFA and I'm an Aspie) and you're also in Chicago.

*stares at icon in return* Man, we are fandom twins...

As for the coincidence of high-functioning sons and both in Chicago, that's weird! *laughs* Let's see how far you can push the correlation: I'm on the South Side, in Hyde Park. What part of the city do you hale from?

I'm originally from downstate, but, because I teach in CPS and am required to live in the city, we live on the South Side in Ashburn.

I'm going to switch to email for more details but...yeah...

Oh, gods...that one was brilliant. That was the one where, although I'm still pleased with my drabble, I read yours and went, "Oh! THAT WINS! THAT is what happened!" It was perfect and, imo, covered the same ground SO much better than mine! I'm SO glad you wrote it!

Well, you're welcome. I loved your story and thought others should read it too; you nailed Radar and Hawkeye and Margaret and...it reads like an episode and I enjoyed it tremendously. :-)

You know, now I'm feeling like I should go back through all the recs posts and thank the folks who recced me!
