Wow! There is such a romantic love story entwined here. And your imagery is so eloquent. Describing John waking up in the infirmary has been done a hundred times, yet yours was beautiful.The whole world feels like it's been glossed in Vaseline with the lights extra fuzzy and the cup on the nearby table looking like something out of an impressionist painting.
And Rodney's tension and John gradually falling in love. Again, wow. And thank you.

Loved this so, so much. John and Rodney are so in character, so perfect. I found myself thinking -- this is how it would go, on the show. This is where they've been working toward!
