Snow and Dragons

Snow first. And did I mention SNOW? We already had enough from the last storm- almost two feet here, and it's not melting very fast. Then yesterday we got more. It didn't stick to the ground as much as the first batch, but the winds were wicked, and it drifted everywhere. I spent all day yesterday (during the beginning of the storm) at the

I don't like snow all that much! We get it here in the high desert once every two years and it only stays on the ground for a few days or so. I was born in Southern California and never been in the snow until I went to Germany when I was in the Army. I've seen it on the mountains but never been in it. The town I was stationed at was called Ulm, and during the winter you never see any of the residents, but when spring comes around they come out of the woodwork and there are folks everywhere.

It's usually not so bad here- we had a few dustings of snow in December/January. But then we had this big storm, then more, and it sort of compounds. At least it's not so cold out- I don't mind snow if it's not freezing all the time!

More snow? I'm so glad our snow vanished and is replaced by rain. Rain isn't much better, but I would always prefer it over the high amount of snow we had this year ...

And you have great dragon. So many ... and I love the names!
