Snow and Dragons
Snow first. And did I mention SNOW? We already had enough from the last storm- almost two feet here, and it's not melting very fast. Then yesterday we got more. It didn't stick to the ground as much as the first batch, but the winds were wicked, and it drifted everywhere. I spent all day yesterday (during the beginning of the storm) at the library, running the used book sale because all the usual volunteers didn't want to drive in during the snow. And now, they're talking about more snow for Monday.
And it's been a while since I posted dragons, so:
Vitis-Flos (female) 'Vine-Flower' in Latin
Noir-Aile (female) 'Black-Wing' in French
Boker-Shakhar (male) 'Morning-Dawn' in Hebrew
Ai-Sobakasu (female) 'Blue-Freckle' in Japanese (from two of my dragons)
Hiru-Yume (male) 'Day-Dream' in Japanese (from two of my dragons)
Nero-Violetto (male) 'Black-Violet' in Italian
Azrak-Maa (male) 'Blue-Water' in Arabic (from two of my dragons)
Equa-Draco (female) 'Horse-Dragon' in Latin (from two of my dragons)
Star-ko (female) '-ko' is Japanese for 'child' (all my little Pygmys are siblings from the same two originals)
Bleu-Tache de Rousseur (female) 'Blue-Freckle' in French (from two of my dragons)
Rubra-Virga (female) 'Red-Stripe' in Latin
Kakhol-Khashmal (female) 'Blue-Electricity' in Hebrew
Cor-Cauda (female) 'Heart-Tail' in Latin
Calon-Cynffon (female) 'Heart-Tail' in Welsh
(I was able to catch two valentine eggs this year, but I never managed to find a pink sugar. Maybe next year!)
Oren-Tan (female) 'Orange-Fire' in Welsh
Sanguis-Dens (male) 'Blood-Teeth' in Latin
Hoshi-child (female) 'hoshi' is Japanese for 'star' (another Pygmy sibling)
I found a lot of different eggs since my last post- valentines, an electric, a magma- which I'm very pleased with.
I also have a couple of hatchlings:

During the snow, I've had plenty of time to look after my dragons- along with other things, like writing random drabbles and watching the first season of StarGate Atlantis. I'll probably be at the library next week, to help with the snow-after-math.
