John frowned at his team, then at the large pile of cushions Teyla was arranging.
“What-?”
“Earth people are too weird about touching,” interrupted Ronon.
Without warning, he grabbed John and Rodney and dragged them into the pile.
“Hey!” flailed Rodney, smacking John as often as Ronon before giving in and going still.
“Touch is important,” Teyla said, and put baby Torren in John’s arms before he could try to escape.
With quick motions, she rearranged them so that somehow they all overlapped, surprisingly comfortable.
“Now what?” asked Rodney. “We snuggle?”
“Yeah,” said Ronon.
John held Torren close, “Okay.”
