There had been, when she moved in, in the bathroom and above the dresser, but she’d taken them both down, leaning them carefully at the back of the small closet. Samantha had helped her order something called a make-up mirror, a small reflective surface surrounded by lights, that Vala kept turned toward the wall after she’d fixed her hair.
Earth had the technology to make large mirrors, tall and clear, with frames like a work of art.
Vala would buy herself one - as soon as she stopped seeing Qetesh in the glass.
