I noticed this too when I was trotting through Target yesterday. A couple weeks ago, I saw these neat silver bells bells with handles that you could sit on a table and ring. They were gone now, as were most of the other good ornaments in those aisles.
Also hard to find are those more stylish winter boots (the ones with the suede and sheepskin lining). :p Hubby was getting fussy about the fact the boots I currently wear for snow days have heels that are too high for my 'condition'. At least he cares... ^^
Cookies can be tricksey things, me thinks. Depends a lot on the recipe being used too. Some would end up with batter that's too 'runny', while others would be so thick, the cookies would bake up hard.
Found this one choc chip cookie recipe that also has peanut butter and cinnamon in it that I love now. Have to guard the cookie tin right after I bake 'em cause hubby can't stay out of them! *lol*
