It's a good thing I don't (yet) have the power to make people's heads explode just by thinking it, or there would be some serious mess to clean up in my immediate radius right now

*hugs* I'm sorry everything sucks. The system absolutely sucks balls and really is rigged to work against people that need help the most, which is horrible, because it's a system that is supposed to HELP those people.
But please, don't give up. It's rough. Everything sucks. But maybe I'm just one of those people that can't stand to leave things unfinished.
Life isn't about it getting better or worse. It doesn't really work that way, all though we all refer to it as such. It has more in common with bodies of water than anything else. You can be pulled along on the tide, caught in the doldrums, or kicked about by the rapids, or catch a fair trade wind and cruise on through but the chances that you will always be in any of these states and never the other isn't all that great
