Evil Migraine has receded (they last about 3 days, with it ebbing away by the 3rd) and I am once more cohesively functional. Yay me. XD *hugs*

Well, it's normal for retail industry, anyway... It's just that I landed at a place that has a particularly high level of rat-maze-where-the-fuck-is-my-cheese bullshit. *shrug* (And as someone else pointed out - might've been you, I forget now - a lot of places know they can do this to workers because those workers are so desperate for jobs right now. I know I sure could use some extra money... :/ Times like these I do miss my grocery store job from Florida, in spite of its nuisances. There's a peculiar power and delight in being able to buy your own groceries. Seriously ( ... )

Ugh. That really sucks. =( I hope you're feeling better. And it would be really unfair if they give you any grief, when you do go back. Like you said, it's a freaking migraine. You can't predict them. Most places want you to give as much notice as possible when calling in, but there are some times when you just can't, and they need to accept that. Good luck. <3
