bull fight recommendations or thoughts?

My sister and her boyfriend are going to visit me in March during their spring break. We'll spend some time in Madrid then return to my pueblo in cordoba. Her boyfriend has expressed an interest in seeing a bull fight, so I'm looking at info on bull fights in Madrid and Seville especially. Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. Bull fights are much, much bloodier than you may be expecting.

yeah... This is the kind of comment I am looking for... I recall a friend of mine mentioning that she went to a bull fight for the cultural experience but didn't enjoy it at all.

Part of the "art" is killing the bull as slowly and theatrically as possible. And it's obvious that the bull is in a lot of pain and there is a huge amount of blood.

I don't skeeve easily, but I thought it was pretty nasty.

A bull fight only lasts about 20 minutes or so though. You can send him off to watch it while you and your friend have a drink someplace nearby.

I was way too sensitive to handle it and ended up leaving early. They drag it out as long as possible and the bull clearly suffers a lot.
