bull fight recommendations or thoughts?

My sister and her boyfriend are going to visit me in March during their spring break. We'll spend some time in Madrid then return to my pueblo in cordoba. Her boyfriend has expressed an interest in seeing a bull fight, so I'm looking at info on bull fights in Madrid and Seville especially. I'm finding plenty of information through zee Google no prob, but I'm just curious about other people's thoughts or experiences, with attending bull fights.

Any tips or recommendations for anything (dealing with crowds, specific shows, whatever)?

Oh, and, thoughts on reactions to seeing a bull fight (see first comment). I'm wondering if anyone has advisories about that.
