Motivation is a tricky, fickle thing. In order to be motivated you need to be in positive spirits. (Not happy per say, just positive). And to be in positive spirits you need to be motivated to give you the drive to better yourself and find what truly centers you.

If you don't have one the other won't follow. Which is where self-defeat happens. Sometimes it can't be helped. It's just a by product of situation or something else that takes your drive or mood away and you fall into a slump.

What N did for you was exactly what one needs in such a situation. He let you borrow his spirits, his ambition. He gave a spark to rekindle your own fire and start you back on that self-perpetuating cycle towards greatness. You guys have something really special.

Sorry for my crude attempt at waxing poetic, your situation just strikes a cord with me.

ohh, baby, that's such a sweet comment! it really brightened my morning :) and yes, i do so much better when i'm working with other people. i always feel better when i'm being productive but getting motivated on my own is so hard... and it's hard to ask for help, too.

thanks so much for your kind words <3 you are so lovely and encouraging, darling
