The worst part about any vacation is getting back to work after it's all over.

It was a pretty good weekend. Friday was low-key, Sunday was low-key (though involved some apartment cleaning and laundry). Saturday... well, Saturday was an adventure.

Even though the amusement park trip kind of fell through for me (which, really, shouldn't surprise me--I probably shouldn't have bought the ticket to begin with, let alone do so without making a local copy of contact information), it wasn't a total loss ( Read more... )

I finally got around to uploading some of my pictures. I don't take a lot. I should take more. I will take more once I get a newer camera. As much as I've loved my old Sony CD1000, it's just old, slow, clunky and heavy. Thankfully, it paid for itself long ago.

What a fan-frakin'-tastic party.

Just... wow.

Happy birthday to all the May people! We celebrated hard over at dallendoug and bondagejelly and xpi's place.

The party had everything (OK, amlost everything... there were no emergency personnel needed). I had a wonderful time and even got to meet a new person or three.

More after sleep... and shopping and stuff...

Friday night I ended up hitting the Rude Mechanical's version of A Midsummer Night's Dream with gore_whore_5 and spirit_o_fire. It was a truly fabulous production. Really funny and just generally really well done. The Rudes are a great bunch of very talented people. Hitting the cast party afterward almost made me want to get involved with theater stuff again.
