Since January of 1999, I've been single. The six months before that, it was a long distance slow burn to the end. The three years before that, well, it was complicated, but generally good (for both of us, I hope

you have a very mature attitude towards relationships which hopefully the right gal will appreciate. you don't settle and you have a bigger picture than the moment in mind i think. good luck and go get her!! :)
I've seen too many bad and stupid relationships to want to repeat other people's mistakes. So far, I've been quite successful. I don't want that to change.
Whatever I need to have happen, will happen, when it's supposed to.
Yeah... but I've had a crush. That is ongoing until I can do something about it.
This thing that just popped up over the weekend isn't a crush. It's something else... mainly because she was the one who initiated it... and there was physical contact.
:)
Oh, trust me, if it goes good (or bad) everyone will know. It'll be a good story.
It lasted but a moment. The smile and surprise on her face, however, lingered 'till the exit gate.
Fleeting but beautiful and the essence of an act and consequential butterflies in tummies from such attention that we hold on to, at least until the next one comes along. Of course it also depends on who the giver is.
Now, I have many amusing debate with the bf about when I considered a kiss was stolen and when it's not. Just because I responded to a kiss at the moment it was "stolen" doesn't mean it wasn't stolen first. :-) Those are fun, especially from someone you want to care about. But you're right, the long-lasting meaningful ones have to be shared.
And who ever said any starting relationship is "normal". hehe. I don't think I've ever started a relationship in a "normal" way either, but they all have ended on a good note.
Crushes are exciting... but this isn't a crush. This is based in much more reality--much more actual action--than a crush. And she was the one that started it! (Which, I suppose, is pretty much par for the course for me.)
I have vague memories of what kissing was like... it's been a very long time.
Ah this description was *MUCH* better than the rushed one earlier today. I think you're ready for new and different experiences. And some smoochies. Everyone needs smoochies ;)

And, really, I think ren fair is a great warm-up for chiaro. Ren fair with flirting... even better. ;)
I'm still not quite back to where I think I should be, but I'm getting there.
