fuck I hate this! I hate that everything seems to fall apart and my lj-friends are feel pressured to move on.
Since a week I try to write a constructive open letter to LJ. But it is difficult to find the write words and maybe the right arguments that could help and let them take me serious.
As you know English is not my mother-tongue, I am not American and not familiar with their law. I still hope that I get it done soon and that it maybe as a positiv effect.
At least even if it is all for nothing I will know that I fought for all of us.

I will never forget that you made me my journal and helped me with my first steps here in lj. It is sad that it seems to end bad. I will keep an eye on your insane journal and hope not to loose touch.

Thanks luv! I'm not really going that far, it's just that there are loads of things I may want to say or do that I don't think I could do here anymore. And LJ is giving terrible customer service Now Squeaky, the guy who runs IJ, will actually warn everyone that he's working on the servers and that IJ may be down but he'll stop by 4 or something. That's just such a decent thing to do and yet it shocks me because I'm used to LJ treating me like crap.

darkhavens is setting up a feed though, for me, which is great of her. Then if I do post something at IJ, you'll be able to know!

Hi, sweetie. I just created an rss feed for your ij: amejisuto_ij, but as it won't be updated for almost 24 hours, I'd hold off advertising it until we see if it actually works. ;)

From what I can tell from lj's ramblings, it's direct linkage that they're vetoing, so if you link to a tag page or memory page - so you have to click again to get to the 'questionable' content - then you're covered. If they try to say anything further away from lj than one click is also unacceptable, where do they stop? In 2 clicks you could get to just about anywhere on the internet: www.google.com > THE REST OF THE INTERNETZ!

It's a stupid, unenforceable rule, but tis their own.

BTW, all my pepsi gifts have been given to feedback, one a day for the next 10 days, along with a polite note saying 'I do not want your pepsi ads. Take them back' attached to each and every one. :D

It's not just the linking back or the porn issue for me, at least not anymore. It's the fact that they're treating their customers like morons! And they keep breaking their own promises! It's frustrating as hell and I'm not going to deal with them any more than I have to, you know?
