Excellent job! I can't do a French braid at all. Never could.

I have blonde highlights! Since I have such dark hair I use a cranberry red to offset the blonde! The nice thing about dye is it's temporary! Hair grows. If you don't like it, you don't have to live with it.

Go for it!

Thanks! It's not that difficult, just requires a little bit practice. (And hair that is long enough. And strong arms! XP)

Cranberry red sounds awesome! ♥♥♥ Now I try to imagine how it looks like. Show me a photo someday!
I had my hair dyed completely red some years ago. The color was named "dark cherry" and on the picture it looked like a nice and bright red, but on my hair it came out mostly black. Only when light fell on it you could see the red (or rather violet) light reflexes. In contrast with my white skin, it made me look like a vampire whore! (>_<)' Luckily, the high priced, allegedly "permanent" dye washed out within 2-3 weeks. All in all, it was an epic fail!

Now I've digested that shock enough to try out blonde! XP I'll just go step by step and try highlights first.
And yeah, you're right. If I don't like it I can always dye it another color. My hair grows like weed anyway.
Thank you! That's the encouragement I need!!

When I get the highlights freshened up I'll take a pic and show you. Right now, I have about an inch of roots because my hair also grows like a weed.

Damn it!

Blonde will look nice in your hair. I can't pull them off alone because I've got very dark brown hair (very, VERY) and the blonde will make me look ridiculous without the cranberry red to give it some depth.

If you hate the blonde, seriously, a salon can put in a toner to darken it. Remember to give it a week! The colors have to set and oxidize, and you need to give yourself a chance to adjust to the new look. The first time I did it I was all, "HOLY CRAP! I'm BLONDE!" On the up side, I found that they were right: Blondes do have more fun! :D

Good luck!
