Wikipedia's featured article today is the Finnish Civil War. Though I'd like to see a bit more positive stories about Finland out there, this still made me smile :) I'm easily pleased, it seems :P

Today it's been 89 years since Finland declared itself independent from the USSR (and with the way things are going there, I couldn't be happier).

But no politics today. Just me being proud of my country.

I'm sorry to spam the flist, but HIM's latest album Dark Light has sold gold in the States! This does not happen to Finnish bands. Especially not this far from the mainstream. I knew they had gained popularity in the USA, but I had no idea they were this big. I'm so happy for them :) And proud.
