Parliamentary elections
Finnish parliamentary elections were held yesterday. In a nutshell, it was an unmitigated disaster.
The Centre Party and the National Coalition completely swept the carpet under the Social Democrats and the Left Alliance, which means four years under the most Bourgeoisie government Finland has seen since the last depression. We're in for a hell of a ride. Downwards, that is.
Goodbye to nature conservation, free health care and any increase in student financial aid.
On the bright slightly less gloomy side, my candidate made it to the Parliament, and the Green League gained one extra seat (now 15 out of 200).
