I've been unemployed ever since I finished my job in London, which is four months ago now. During the first month, we were busy renovating the flat and enjoying the summer, and I didn't worry about it. I had a decent amount of money saved up, and I was sure I'd find something soon enough

Eeep! I'm sorry you've been having such a tough time finding a position. That sucks hugely. I'm glad you finally got a nibble, but I'm with you on the filming yourself speak thing. Is there anyway you can pretend you're just sitting there having tea with a friend as you speak the answers? Or have someone edit the shit out of it? *hugs*

I pretty much went with the "imagining speaking to a friend" routine. Surprisingly the end results weren't as mortifying as I'd feared, but I'm definitely in no hurry for a repeat performance! Here's hoping this'll all pay off :)
