KILL

I am in a really horrible place right now. If you are interested, read on. If not, move on to something else.

I am about ready to kill my mother.

I don't know how much pull you have with her, but we had a similar problem with my aunt with QVC and HSN. First we'd just write "return to sender" on any and all packages that came - she rarely even remembered what she bought. Eventually though we had to convince her to cancel all her credit cards.

I suppose giving her money is enabling her, so don't feel guilty about saying no. She'll learn her lesson.

It sucks when your mom is more like the kid in your relationship. I'm sorry :(

i definitely don't know what it's like to be in this position (my parents are both very responsible with their money ... me? not so much.) but it sounds suckish. i think you're right for saying no. nothing will change as long as she's protected from experiencing the real consequences of her actions.

Uh.. NO NO NO aaaand NO. Giving her any of your money is just supporting this behavior.

Your mother needs therapy.
