Yes. I returned alive from the Amazon rainforest and am now in Quito again. So much happened i don´t know where to start. Let¨s start with my favorite thing there (besides fish obviously), the monkeys!!! ( Chronicles of the Amazon - Part 1: Monkeys )

I'm sorry to all my friends that I haven't talked with you recently.  That would be because I spend most my waking hours working on ...work.  I've been hacking away at my intended sample size for my swordtail research which means that I spend hours upon hours on end in "the dungeon" where i do my tests.  They really call ( Read more... )

Since I arrived in Woods Hole I've been insanely busy!  But the upside is that due to all the rigorous research I'll be doing, I am going to get original research in behavioral marine ecology done.  In Mexico there is an amazing system of hybridization which has taken place between two species of swordtail fish.  I will be studying female mate ( Read more... )
