Blood Ties is sort of similar to Moonlight in terms of the whole young woman and vampire fight supernatural crime plot. It lasted for 2 seasons http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808013/
Wonderfalls- If Pushing Daisies was too over the top this might appeal slightly more. It only lasted one season but I love it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361256/

Wait, which one, Noel or Ben?
Psych - so mediocre
It is mediocre and I could care less about the mystery of the week, but I think the bromance between Shawn and Gus is the BEST BROMANCE EVER. I seriously love them. They need to make guest appearances on all my favorite shows.
OMG Seventh Heaven was the worst crap ever. I remember watching it when I was younger. I hate shows that preach to you and that's all that show did. PLUS it was so boring.
How I Met Your Mother is friggin hilarious. I adore it. It's by far my favorite sitcom since Friends.
Talking about that, I don't see Friends, Will & Grace or Buffy listed. Did you ever watch those?

I didn't grow up in the US so didn't see any of those latter three - I wanted to like Buffy but I tried an episode or too and it seemed really cheesy. Will&Grace I don't watch out of principle as I'm a Christian and don't support homosexuality:) Friends I do want to try sometime, the bits I've seen were funny and it's it's kind of an American institution.

I get not watching Will & Grace. They marketed it as kind of a Friends drama, but the humor there bordered on slapstick, while Friends was situational. I consider Friends as a modern Seinfeld.
Oh man, Buffy. Yeah, it could be a little cheesy but. . .I loved it. The second season was my favorite. I loved the friendships in it, the whole issue of 'I'm a vampire slayer but I just want to be a normal girl', the whole 'I'm falling in love with someone who is supposed to be my enemy'. Plus, Buffy just kicked ass. I don't know if my adoration with it is because I grew up watching it. Maybe if it aired today it wouldn't be a favorite but it was my first TV show that I ever watched so it holds a special place in my heart. *tear*
