This is a very interesting take on one of the best S6 episodes. Jacob and Jack have respect without understanding, yes - and they're both pretty okay with that. :)

Thanks Fig, that is exactly the emotion between the two men that what I wanted to portray! We don't need to get it all the time, trust will sometimes be enough.

Nice tension in this. Jacob feels alienated from those around him, even his symbiote. Jack's friendship with Jacob is at odds with his own experiences with the Tok'ra. He makes his decision based on the character of the man. Well done!

Thanks Lynne, the relationship between the men looked so strong I figured they would draw on that. Jack would never have understood, and Jacob needed to know that was okay.

A lovely moment between Jack and Jacob. Poor Jack, he still has a 'think' about blending, and really, who can blame him. Sounds like this was a pretty action packed episode. Beautifully written :)

I'm really glad you went for this episode. It's an important one, and we don't examine it enough. Jacob's point of view in it is particularly interesting, as his relationship with Jack.
