My favorite scene with my favorite characters in my favorite episode. Very good background on what Jacob was thinking.

Nice. I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks! I loved this episode as well! I adored Jack when they wrote him as the soldier he truly was, and Jacob was very well portrayed wasn't he!

He is SO hot when he's in full military mindset!

Much was said in that scene that went unsaid in words, so you've filled in the gaps nicely!

It had to be terribly frustrating and emotional for both Jacob/Selmak and Jack. Such different experiences to which neither one could really control their reactions. I don't blame Jack at all and I am comforted that Jacob felt sad about his horrible experience. It was good that he was offering friendship despite Jack's failing to see their commonality.

Good people can agree to disagree, but still share mutual respect and friendship. Jack and Jack/Selmak were definitely high quality men/beings of integrity. Well done for amplifying the goodness of their brief exchange!

Thank you for such a thoughtful feedback. Jack and Jacob/Salmac could never truly understand each other, but that core friendship was all they needed to bridge that gap I think.
