Today launches my semi-annual war against technology. This year I seem to be more angry than usual, too. I suppose this year it’s not just Apple that I want to take a bite out of. X-Box 360 has a lot of rage coming it’s way too. This is two-fold: creepy commercials and nightmares.

This was the first weekend at The Lake in 2009, and overall it was awesome.  We sat in front of the fire, told family stories, and drank ourselves silly.  Friday night pretty much ended with Suki, Cap'n, and myself collapsing in laughter after a game of quarters went terribly wrong.  Saturday we were joined by Shade, BritSkip, and Periwinkle.  ( Read more... )

I read a quote tonight that I find particularly apt tonight. So a friend of mine and I had dinner tonight, and he gave my my christmas presents.  I have to say this is the most awesome list of Christmas presents from anyone I have ever gotten.  He gave me a fantastic calendar of Wegman's photographs of dogs.  He got me an awesome shirt that has the lyrics to "It's Friday I'm in Love" in caution signs.
