lol, awesomesauce. I love how Pepper is at once aggravated about being called out at such an ungodly hour and yet delighted at the very idea of getting to see him, no matter what time it is. And yes, it is totally possible that Tony's tired of watching obscure tv by himself - and/or he just wants an excuse to get Pepper to come snuggle on the couch and eat popcorn with him. :D

And Discover channel would totally show an Iron Man documentary. Basic rule of thumb: if it's cool; if it's sciencey; if it's "guy tv," but not dumb guy tv, smart guy tv (and I say that as a girl who has been addicted to Discover Channel for years) - then it's on Discovery channel. Think: MythBusters, Future Weapons, Deadliest Catch, just to name a few. Shows that Tony either watches all the time, knows the people who make it, or possibly even owns it himself. Discovery Channel. ;)
