My first copy was a burned copy from my childhood friend. I would listen to that like 90 times a day.
Then later in time I bought a hard copy at the store since my other copy was starting to wear out and skip.
The last track on that copy had a glitch that made the song suddenly end for absolutely no reason. In retaliation I sold that album to a used/trade store to get some money. :(
Bottom line, I loved Hybrid Theory a TON. But I would also say that my tastes have significantly changed from those days. :)

LP was the most technical band to come out of the rap/rock scene made popular by Kid Rock. Lately I've noticed that they've been trying to distance themselves from that, as they deliberately move into an Alternative sound. Ironically, I've noticed that Dream Theater, the most technical Progressive Rock band, is doing the same thing, moving more into metal than they have in the past. Unlike Dream Theater, I don't think Linkin Park will stay relevant if they change their sound too much, though.
